SAHRAI MILANO is a Brand closely tied to Rugs, by a family tradition that runs back to 1830. That generation of the family began incessant journeys from its base in the Teheran bazaar to the various Middle Eastern and Asian rug-makingcenters, throughout Persia and the Caucasus, in search of the finest rugs. Later, the quest for rare and high-quality piecescontinued even further afield on international markets with the opening, since the early 50´s, of several galleries in Europe. In today’s global world, the brand is run by brother and sister Ramine and Rana. The family is still working in the same field, but they have added an extra important component to their business. They have combined their expertise in the area of Oriental rug weaving with the sophisticated design and originality of Western interiors.

Today, Sahrai is based in three different prestigious locations in the historical center of Milan. Since 1991 Sahrai’sheadquarters are in Via Giuseppe Verdi, near the Scala Opera House, including a Gallery where the Heritage AntiqueCollection is currently displayed.
